ألفافيل هي منطقة سكنية تمتد عبر أجزاء من بارويري وسانتانا دي بارنايبا داخل منطقة ساو باولو الحضرية. يتكون التطوير من عدة مجتمعات مسورة مبنية بأنظمة أمنية خاصة وطرق وصول منفصلة.

أسس المهندسون هذا الحي في السبعينيات كمجتمع مخطط خارج وسط مدينة ساو باولو. نما المشروع من تطوير واحد إلى منطقة واسعة تضم العشرات من المجمعات السكنية المنفصلة.

يضم الحي مؤسسات تعليمية ومراكز تسوق والعديد من أماكن الترفيه التي تخدم السكان و150,000 زائر يوميًا.

الوصول بشكل رئيسي عبر طريق كاستيلو برانكو السريع مع عدة مخارج محددة تؤدي إلى مناطق سكنية مختلفة. لكل مجمع مدخله الخاص مع فحوصات أمنية عند البوابة.

يأخذ الحي اسمه من فيلم خيال علمي فرنسي صدر عام 1965. غالبًا ما تتبع الشوارع داخل المجمعات الترتيب الأبجدي في نظام تسميتها.
